CURIS® 4 MHz Radiofrequency Generator
For over 50 years Sutter Medizintechnik has been synonymous with electrosurgical medical products of the highest precision and quality. Sutter Medizintechnik based in Emmendingen, Germany, develops, produces and distributes innovative products for ENT, microsurgery and neurosurgery, offering optimal solutions for surgeons around the world, thus contributing to the improvement and preservation of life.
CURIS® 4 MHz Radiofrequency Generator – One unit, many applications
The CURIS® 4 MHz Radiofrequency Generator is based on the innovative 4 MHz technology.
Thanks to this technology, CURIS® is gentle on tissues and effective for coagulation, shrinkage of the submucosa and cutting.
Scientific studies have shown that tissue trauma can be reduced using CURIS® 4 MHz Radiofrequency Technology¹, as the higher the frequency, the lower the resistance of biological tissue to electromagnetic fields.
With the CURIS® 4 MHz radiofrequency generator, cell membranes are conductive and energy is absorbed evenly within the cells².
Thanks to highly targeted energy absorption, precise monopolar cuts are possible with minimal lateral thermal damage³.

Sutter Medizintechnik offers healthcare workers a series of bipolar forceps with different sizes, with and without suction, with and without irrigation.
SUTTER Bipolar Forceps have the following main features:
- easy and comfortable dissection with Guide-Stop™
- the spring force of the instrument facilitates dissection
- the Guide-Stop™ closes the instrument precisely from tip to tip
- all Sutter bipolar forceps are available with EU flat connector
SuperGliss® non-stick Bipolar Forceps
SuperGliss® non-stick bipolar forceps, when compared to conventional steel bipolar forceps with identical tip width, demonstrated significantly reduced tissue adhesion during a 7-second coagulation period.
*4 Sutter Medizintechnik, data on file, Emmendingen/Germany
In a comparative evaluation where both types of bipolar forceps were assessed on a scale of 0-10 for tissue adhesion, with 0 indicating high stickiness and 10 representing optimal lack of adhesion, SuperGliss® non-stick bipolar forceps rated best for the lack of adhesion, substantially better than the conventional bipolar forceps.
Calvian endo-pen® endoscopic bipolar forceps
The Calvian endo-pen® endoscopic bipolar forceps have the following characteristics:
- thin single shaft and handle
- robust tips for bipolar soft tissue coagulation
- tip widths from 0.4mm to 2.5mm are available
- different angles: 15°, 35°, 45° and 70°
- reusable and autoclavable
Each Calvian endo-pen® comes with an instrument tray for safe cleaning and sterilization
Calvian® duckbill+ endoscopic bipolar forceps
The Calvian® duckbill+ endoscopic forceps have the following features:
- scissor handle
- availability of luer lock connection for suction
- different types of angles (15° and 45°) and lengths
- possibility of frontal coagulation at the tip
- Calvian® duckbill+ endoscopic forceps allow you to perform grasping and coagulation functions
Thanks to their design and technical characteristics, the Calvian® duckbill+ endoscopic forceps allow, in addition to performing grasping and clotting functions, to safely perform transnasal accesses for Fess
